MEET OUR EXCEPTIONAL STAFF
EDGAR CAMACHO BASCOPE
Edgar is originally from Bolivia. Before moving to the US, he completed a dental lab technician program. He recently obtained his certification in dental assisting from ACT College in Arlington, VA. Edgar loves working at CDA and hopes to acquire additional certifications and education in the near future. He lives locally.
JUDY GARRISS
Judy has recently retired from the office. She was with the practice for 13 years!
DONA INGRAM
Dona grew up in Alexandria and graduated from T.C. Williams High School. She recently completed her bachelor’s degree from Phoenix University. She has been with CDA since September 2010. She started as a dental assistant and is currently a business associate. She is currently working towards her nursing degree.
LAVINIA KIRKLAND
Lavinia is a native of Alexandria. She graduated from T. C. Williams High School. Following high school, Lavinia obtained certification as a Pharmacy Technician. She came to work at the Center for Dental Anesthesiology as a dental assistant. After 10 years as an assistant, she became a business associate. Her current position entails taking care of all aspects of our patient's office visit. Lavinia resides locally with her 3 children.
LILU MAREALLE, RDH
Lilu came to this country from Tanzania in 1984. She graduated from T. C. Williams High School. Lilu worked as a dental assistant for 11 years before returning to school. She graduated from NOVA as a dental hygienist and came to work at CDA in August 2009. Lilu loves the profession she has chosen. She lives locally.
TERESA ORDONEZ
Teresa is originally from Peru. She was awarded with Virginia Dental Assistants Association Student Award in 2001. She has been working at the Center for Dental Anesthesiology, currently as Dr. Snyder's assistant, since 2001. She lives in Burke with her husband and two daughters.
GORAL PATEL
Goral Patel emigrated from India in 2001 to attend high school in Michigan. Before she moved to Virginia, she obtained her certification in phlebotomy. Goral started working at the CDA in April 2009. She is currently the front desk administrator, which entails keeping patients' records and insurance information up to date. She lives locally with her husband.
JENNIFER M. SCHMOYER, MS
Jennifer has been with the practice since 2006. Her current position is Clinical Care Coordinator, which entails all aspects of both clinical and administrative duties, and Web Manager. She obtained a Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University in both Life Science and Neuroscience Psychology, and she received her Master's in biology from The University of Nebraska in 2009. She is currently attending George Mason University for an Accelerated Second Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Although she is originally from Pennsylvania, Jennifer currently resides in Alexandria with her husband.
JULIE SMITH
Julie moved to the area about 2 years ago from Massachusetts. She attended ACT College and graduated in 2011. Julie has been with the practice since May 2011.
GILLIE WRATTEN
Gillie emigrated to the United States from the UK in 1987. She started working at the CDA in November 2008. Even though her job title is "Business Associate", she does a bit of everything. She lives locally and has 3 children.
